Don't forget Her Fragrant Emulsion by Lewis Klahr. An amazing piece from 1987 that explores obsessions with B-movie female stars. Most of this piece utilizes film strips directly animated and and optically printed onto the film plane. I wish I could find images or video, but it's an amazing piece
